HOW

Transporation
The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is a short twenty minute drive to the heart of the city. It should be easy to secure taxi or other car transportation from the airport to your hotel. New Orleans has a limited Street Car line, which connects uptown New Orleans to the French Quarter, but taxis and other app-based car services are available.
For those who have not yet visited, New Orleans is a culturally rich and vibrant city with amazing food, and we can’t wait to introduce it to you (in fact, we will be updating our website with visitor suggestions soon). As with most cities, please be cautious when walking at night beyond nightlife areas.
Accommodation

New Orleans has a great range of options for accommodations. While we offer a few suggestions on the right ,  New Orleans has many wonderful hotels that frequently offer reduced fairs. We encourage you to do some online treasure hunting to find a spot and a deal that's right for you.

Hotel Suggestions

For an elegant (lounge, chandeliers) yet semi-funky (a portrait of lil’ Wayne in the dining room) vibe, we recommend staying at the Pontchartrain Hotel, located Uptown near the  with Street Car access to both Audubon Park and the French Quarter.

They also have a beautiful rooftop bar

for great overviews of the city.

The French Quarter is the home of the famous Bourbon Street. For those who would like to stay in or near the ever-lively French Quarter, we suggest the Hotel Monteleone, Ace Hotel or Hotel No. 77,  each of which are charming and festive.

If you're looking for a more budget friendly option or eager to rack up your hotel points, consider staying near the convention center. This area is conveniently located a few blocks away from our reception venue, Race and Religious, as well as within walking distance from the French Quarter.

For a quaint and quiet B&B, we recommend the Creole Garden Inn. This place has plenty of access to fresh air and is brimming with plants. It is also perfectly situated next to the Irish House, on the Street Car Line, and just a few blocks away from Race and Religious.
